As a die casting engineer with more than 35 years of experience in prototype and low volume casting production, I have a deep appreciation and understanding of the challenges you, as a designer, face.

Besides making a handful of parts for testing, the prototype casting process is also suitable for low volume production.

The quantitative limit on our process is its cost-effectiveness as compared to the production-oriented processes such as die-casting or the permanent mold process. The prototype casting process becomes suitable as a production casting process when the quantities you require do not justify the cost of expensive production tooling.
